Radiall is an international and global manufacturer of interconnect components including RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies, antennas, fiber optics and microwave components and multipin connectors for the telecommunications, military and aerospace markets.
Radiall USA Inc, located in New Haven is seeking a Project Buyer / Sourcing Agent to be the link between suppliers and our Engineering Department during the initial project stage of product improvement and new product development.
Responsibilities include:
" Assure that the best technical choice is achieved at the design stage based on Quality, Cost and Delivery requirements
" Act as Buyer/Planner from the PO prototype phase through mass production phase of development projects
" Choose suppliers for new projects (military antenna, RF coaxial connectors and cable assemblies); develop existing supplier base towards project approach (feedback, ramp up)
" Implement co-design between suppliers and our Engineering team
" Implement and follow new Project Management procedures
" Transfer projects to Operation Departments (Sourcing, Supply Chain, Quality)
Will also be involved with our Sourcing Team in order to improve QCD of our Preferred Supplier Base. Will be responsible for sourcing one or more technologies and work with engineering and suppliers to shorten lead times.

Experience requirements:
" Project buying within an industrial environment
" Supplier quality assurance
" Process capabilities and robust design (Design for Manufacture)
" ERP/MRP experience; APICS certified a plus
To comply with ITAR requirements, candidate must be US Citizen or Permanent Legal Resident.
Candidate must be willing to travel up to 50% of time, (Domestic & International)
Second language (French or Spanish) is a plus
