offers various training classes.
CAPM's monthly membership meetings include a
one to two-hour
pre-meeting workshop on various topics. One-day
and half-day seminars are also offered on a variety of Supply Chain Management
topics. In celebration of March Supply Management Month, CAPM has a
full-day conference; next conference will be in 2008. Our
committee is currently planning this event.
A certification program,
instituted in 1974 by NAPM (now ISMtm), established standards by which the educational and experience
levels of people in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management are
